PHS Jazz Ensembles

In order to more fully meet the needs of interested students, Pulaski High School offers three different jazz ensembles. All Jazz Ensembles are directed by Mr. Dan Tewalt:

Red Raider Jazz Ensemble
(by audition only)

This ensemble is open to upper-classmen by audition only. Auditions are held in the spring of each year. To see audition requirements and infomation, see "PHS Band Audition Info" on the main left menu.

This ensemble has been selected to perform for the WI Music Educators Conference, the National Jazz Ensemble Cup. In 2001 was recognized as one of the top 15 jazz ensembles in the U.S. by the Jazz @ Lincoln Center, Essentially Ellington Festival.

Jazz Ensemble II
(no audition required)

This ensemble is open to students with some jazz band experience. Rehearsals are held on Monday nights after Maching Band Season is over. See the Calendar for dates & times.

(no audition required)

This ensemble is open to all students with or without jazz band experience. Rehearsals are held on Monday nights after Maching Band Season is over. See the Calendar for dates & times.
